– Walnut with Inlay (from 01.09.1998) –
There were two versions of the inlaid wood trim; one was used on facelift models, and can be distinguished by red rectangles instead of dark brown rectangles in the inlay that were present in the pre-facelift.

Calculating accurate production numbers for this wood trim will be pretty much impossible, though, and these numbers should be considered a rough reference with a margin of error of around 10%. That is due to how BMW defined a facelift 750i/750iL/L7 with this wood trim in the build sheets: by not having an option code for ‘Nussbaum hochglaenzend mit Intarsien’.
However, over 200 750s/L7s have their Individual Data Protected (Kein Zugriff – Geschuetzte Fahrzeugdaten), and any data for wood trim is inaccessible. Since these are also missing an option code indicating a specific wood trim, it may have inlaid trim. Or it may not.
Therefore, please keep that in mind when referencing these numbers.
