“Deleted, air conditioning, rear”
This option code is apparently a misnomer. It is present only on L7s, and would indicate that the rear air conditioning has been deleted. However, the auxiliary water pump has an extra pump compared to the regular one present in most other E38s, as pictured below. The part number for it 64 11 8 374 994.
In addition, looking at several pictures of L7s with this option code, the rear AC is clearly visible. If you have an explanation, please let us know!
